Overview
The Johanniskirmes and Schützenfest Mettmann 2025 took place from June 27 to July 1, 2025, with barrel tapping by Mayor Sandra Pietschmann (6:50 PM Friday), band Pirates of Love (Friday), opening fireworks at 10:25 PM. 64 stalls, 9 major rides (including looping swing Intoxx, Ghost, Jetlag, Polype as premieres), 55+ other stalls. King's shooting Sunday 4:30 PM. Family Day + 50 years Lambertus Company Monday.
The 2025 edition was particularly marked by the 50th anniversary of the Lambertus Company. Four live bands over the five days (Pirates of Love, Trials of Life, Golden Boys), king's shooting on Sunday at 4:30 PM, coronation ball on Tuesday — the traditional Mettmann festival calendar was fully celebrated.
