Johannisfest & Fête de la Musique Liebenwalde

As every year, the 2025 festival combined the German St. John's Day tradition with the international Fête de la Musique custom — a quiet, cozy summer festival in the rectory garden of the Liebenwalde church. The combination of children, families, seniors, and music enthusiasts has been proven for years and makes the Johannisfest a firm fixture in the Oberhavel event calendar.

The local church community organizes the festival together with the town of Liebenwalde. Local musicians, choirs, and bands provide the program — a platform for amateur music with high identity-forming value.
