Overview

The Stamsrieder Johanni-Kirta 2025 took place on Sunday, June 29 — traditionally on the Sunday after Johanni. Stamsried Market Square transformed into a festival area with a church service, catering, Stamsrieder Blasmusik, and a flea market. The organizer, as always, was the Schützenverein Kürnburg Stamsried in cooperation with the Cham District Office.

In 2025, the Johanni-Kirta proceeded as usual. The festival mass at 10:00 AM directly in the market square gathered the village and guests from the Bavarian Forest. Afterwards, local clubs took over the catering with hot and cold dishes; in the afternoon, coffee and cake were added.

The Stamsrieder Blasmusik provided musical accompaniment throughout the day, while a flea market around the traffic-free market square completed the typical local scene. Play activities for children and the convivial gathering made the event another authentic traditional occasion in the Bavarian Forest.
