The Jena Christmas Market 2025 opened during the Advent season on the historic market square with around 60 stalls, the large Christmas pyramid on Eichplatz, and the daily tower brass music at 5 PM. The proven concept of the main market and the parallel historic market at Johannistor attracted visitors from all over Central Germany.
2025 Edition
The 2025 edition continued the successful concept: around 60 festive stalls on the historic market square, the tall Christmas pyramid on Eichplatz, the daily tower brass music at 5 PM, and the parallel historic Christmas market at Johannistor. Mulled wine served in Lauscha glass, Thuringian bratwurst, stollen, and candied almonds characterized the culinary offerings. The university city attracted a diverse audience of families, students, and tourists from all over Central Germany in 2025 as well.
