Overview

The 32nd edition of jazzopen stuttgart took place in early July 2025 at Schlossplatz and its side venues. The program combined jazz crossover with pop headliners — as it would in the following years. Over 60,000 paying visitors and thousands of guests at the open stages confirmed the festival as one of the biggest summer festival dates in Southern Germany.

The 32nd edition again ran for twelve days. International headliners from Jazz, Pop, and Soul performed on Schlossplatz — the mix of big pop names and jazz crossover has been the festival's trademark for years. In the inner courtyard of Altes Schloss and at BIX Jazzclub, acoustic sets and late jams ran concurrently, while the open stages filled Stuttgart's city center with free music.

Organizer Opus Festival-, Veranstaltungs- und Management GmbH confirmed the climate-neutral and cashless festival concept — thus laying the groundwork for the expansion to Modena the following year.
