The tenth edition of Jazzoffensive 2024 was themed "I sing the body…!“ and focused on the voice. Headliner was the Swiss trio Nik Bärtsch's Ronin. Three days of concerts and encounters at fabrik Potsdam.
Voice as an Instrument — 2024 Edition
From November 29 to December 1, 2024, Jazzoffensive, under the motto "I sing the body…!“ — an echo of Walt Whitman — dedicated itself to the human voice as an instrument of free improvisation. The festival's headliner was Nik Bärtsch's Ronin, the internationally acclaimed Swiss ritual groove trio. In addition, vocal projects from Scandinavia and Central Europe performed for three days at fabrik Potsdam on Schiffbauergasse.
