Overview

The 2025 RECONNECT edition dispensed with a single partner country for the first time, instead bringing together three former partner regions: Spain (2012), France (2015), and Switzerland (2016). 38 concerts in Hall 7 and at Schlachthof transformed Bremen into an international jazz hotspot for three days.

jazzahead! 2025 ventured a new format: instead of a single partner country, an entire region was at the center with RECONNECT. Former partner countries Spain, France, and Switzerland returned together to Bremen, showcasing how their respective jazz scenes had evolved since their premieres.

From April 24 to 26, 2025, 38 selected acts graced Hall 7 of Messe Bremen and the Schlachthof cultural center. The Clubnight once again transformed the entire city center into an open jazz stage. Several thousand trade visitors and a broad audience took advantage of the festival to discover the trends of the international jazz industry while experiencing Bremen as a Hanseatic cultural city.
