Edition 2025 — Jazz am Kloster
In 2025, Jazz am Kloster took place as usual on Whitsun Monday in the Kloster Bentlage courtyard. The Förderverein Kloster Bentlage and Bluesnote e.V. presented two concert blocks in the morning and afternoon, featuring sophisticated jazz and blues against the brick backdrop of the former Premonstratensian monastery. The established open-air Whitsun Monday date makes the festival a fixed point in the Westphalian jazz season.
The 2025 edition followed the established format with two concert blocks, monastery gastronomy, and a relaxed audience from the Westphalian-Lower Saxon region. Even when at full capacity, the monastery courtyard offers an intimate concert atmosphere — the stage setting in the shade of the brick facade has become a trademark.
