Overview

The 2025 Jakobifest took place on the third weekend in July and followed the familiar choreography with a traditional concert, beer tapping ceremony, show band, festival service, seniors' reception, family day with Jakob Kids Adventure, and a concluding party band on Monday evening.

The 2025 Jakobifest was once again the summer highlight of SV Zenting's event calendar. As in previous years, the Sommerreith festival marquee opened on Friday evening after a traditional concert and procession; the mayor's beer tapping ceremony marked the official start.

On Saturday, festival operations with a show band took center stage, while Sunday began with the festival service and seniors' reception before transitioning into the family day with Jakob Kids Adventure stations. Monday rounded off the festival with a party band. As always, guests came primarily from the immediate vicinity of the Bavarian Forest and the surrounding Sonnenwald towns.
