Overview

The IVORY Open Air 2025 took place in the courtyard of Haus Witten as a curated open air for electronic music. The first collaborations with Dortmund Dance Division solidified the format. Resident DJs of the collectives and invited features graced the castle courtyard — awareness team and curated atmosphere as festival standards.

IVORY Open Air 2025

The IVORY Open Air 2025 established the festival format at the Haus Witten venue within the electronic open-air scene of the Ruhr area. The Ivory Kollektiv curated the program and laid the foundation for the more intensive cooperation in 2026 with the first joint sets with the Dortmund Dance Division.

The venue remained the courtyard of Haus Witten — a historic castle complex with special acoustic and atmospheric qualities for open-air events. The program philosophy — electronic music beyond strict genre boundaries — appealed to a discerning audience from across the Ruhr area. The awareness team and curated atmosphere became established standards of the festival.
