Irma-West Children's and Heritage Festival Hechingen — Edition 2025

At the Irma-West Children's and Heritage Festival 2025, thousands of locals and guests from the entire region flocked to the Hohenzollern city for four festival days. The festival ceremony on Saturday with the pupils brought the city's history to life on stage in dramatic scenes, followed by the traditional lantern procession. During the grand parade on Sunday, dozens of groups with hundreds of participants marched through the city center in historic costumes and traditional attire – music bands, dance groups, clubs, and families showcased the full spectrum of Hechingen's club life. The finale on Monday was the spectacular musical fireworks, combined with the all-day festival grounds offering rides for children and families. The heritage festival once again confirmed its identity-shaping significance for the city of Hechingen and the Zollernalb district.
