The premiere in 2024 — the 1st edition of the Invictus Germany Sports Festival after the 2023 Games — took place at the CASTELLO Düsseldorf. It established the format as an annual legacy event of the Invictus Games and directly led to the 2nd edition in 2026. Veterans from several nations competed in indoor rowing, sitting volleyball, spinning, and table tennis, proving that the Düsseldorf format is effective.
The 2024 premiere of the Invictus Germany Sports Festival was the first legacy event after the major Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023. At the CASTELLO Düsseldorf, veterans from several nations met for a three-day sports competition that combined sport, family, and solidarity. The success confirmed the annual format and led to the 2nd edition in 2026.
