Overview
The Inthronisation of the 2025 Carnival Prince Couple traditionally took place at the beginning of January in the festival hall of the Freiheitshalle Hof. The 1st Hof Carnival Society Narhalla thus opened the 2025 carnival season with the handover of the city keys by the city leadership and the Inthronisation of a new Prince Couple. Entrance of the Elferrat and dance groups, awarding of the Brezenorden, social gathering.
The 2025 Inthronisation followed the long-standing tradition of the Hof Narhalla. In the festival hall of the Freiheitshalle, the new Prince Couple took over the symbolic rule of the city of Hof until Ash Wednesday. The ceremony was accompanied by performances by the dance groups and the awarding of the Brezenorden to personalities who had rendered services to Hof carnival. Free admission – the hall was well-filled, as every year.
