Overview

The Musikfestspiele Saar 2025 took place in May and June with around 50 concerts at over 30 venues. The focus was on a program strand of Eastern European classical music and cave concerts in the Greater Region.

The 37th edition of the Musikfestspiele Saar was once again spread across more than 30 venues between Saarbrücken, the Saarland, and the Greater Region. The festival management presented a diverse program of main concerts, chamber music, cave concerts, and participatory formats.

Renowned ensembles and soloists – from string quartet formations to symphony orchestras – ensured sold-out halls. The SommerTagTraum, a day-long cultural festival, was once again very well received.
