International Music Academy Ludwigslust — Edition 2025

The 2025 edition of the IML continued the tradition of summer masterclasses in Ludwigslust, established in 2022. Young wind and string players worked under the guidance of renowned university professors in individual lessons and chamber music ensembles. Three public concerts – a workshop concert, an opening in the town church, and a finale in the Golden Hall of the palace – made the results accessible to a broad audience. The academy further established itself as a hallmark of classical summers in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and enhanced the visibility of the baroque city as a musical venue.
