The 17th edition of the International Youth Brass Band Festival of Europe took place in Bad Orb in September 2024. With the proven concept (Evening of Nations, open-air concerts, grand concert with Jacob de Haan), the festival once again attracted over 1,000 young musicians and thousands of visitors to the Spessart spa town. Over 1,000 young brass musicians from European orchestras, marching bands, and brass bands met in Bad Orb. Highlights: Evening of Nations, 80 open-air concerts, Grand Concert on Salinenplatz with Jacob de Haan conducting.

The festival has been held every two years since 1989. The 17th edition took place in 2024. Tradition for decades: Opening with the Evening of Nations, open-air concerts on Saturday, Grand Concert on Sunday with the European Anthem under Jacob de Haan.

A three-day festival with an opening on Friday evening, open-air concerts on Saturday, a Gala Concert in the concert hall, and a Grand Concert on Sunday with the European Anthem. Admission to all events is free.
