Overview
In 2025, the Theodor Storm Society once again invited attendees to its annual conference in Husum. Three days of lectures, readings, and an excursion through the North Frisian Storm Country — as every year at the Theodor Storm Center on Wasserreihe.
The 2025 conference followed the established program format: academic lectures on a main theme, readings from Storm's works, the society's members' meeting, and on Sunday, a full-day excursion to locations from Storm's life.
As in most years, international Storm researchers from Japan, China, and Eastern Europe were among the participants — the society has a network that extends far beyond German-speaking countries.
