Overview
In 2025, TAK – Theater Aufbau Kreuzberg also organized an international poetry festival featuring spoken word, visual works, and performance contributions. The format established itself as a distinct voice alongside the large poetry festival of the Haus für Poesie and positioned itself consistently internationally and cross-disciplinarily.
The 2025 edition continued the festival's established path: concentrated number of artists, international origins, performative focus. TAK proved that there is also room in Berlin's dense poetry calendar for an additional, differently curated format.
Thus, the International Poetry Festival at TAK belongs to the Berlin festivals that make the poetic profile of the state of Berlin visible on an international scale – without the quantitative size of the Haus für Poesie, but with an independent profile.
