Overview

The 26th edition of the International Kiel Blues Festival took place on the last Friday in February 2025 at Räucherei Kiel-Gaarden. As in previous years, three headliners from different countries shared the evening, with no opening acts and full-length sets — blues and blues-rock of international caliber for the regular audience of the Räucherei.

26 Years of Blues Tradition

In 2025, the festival remained true to its format: three international headliners equally on stage at the Räucherei in Kiel-Gaarden, the traditional date on the last Friday in February, and the devoted audience of the Northern German blues scene. Organizer German Concerts once again focused on a careful mix of classic blues, blues-rock, and roots music.

Programme

Three headliner sets at Räucherei Kiel-Gaarden — artists and detailed program were communicated through official advance ticket outlets. The evening's concept followed the proven format: Doors open 7 PM, start 8 PM, three full-length sets.
