Overview
The 2025 edition took place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, on the monastery grounds of the Aldersbach brewery in Aldersbach (Passau district). Three stages and several other performance spots in the baroque garden and monastery courtyard provided the setting for concerts, dance performances, and singing acts.
The highlight was the presentation of the MENSCHEN-in-EUROPA Cabaret Prize to Couplet AG, one of Southern Germany's most successful musical cabaret groups. The comedian Martin Frank gave the laudation. The Youth Folk Music Prize was also awarded again in three categories (music, dance, song), each endowed with €1,000. In addition, a traditional farmers' market and Lower Bavarian delicacies characterized the festival day.
