The 25th International Festival Maritim celebrated its anniversary in 2025 from August 1 to 3 in Bremen-Vegesack. Around 100,000 visitors gathered along the Maritime Mile as 30 international bands and groups performed shanties, folk, and folk-punk on eight stages. The festival, as usual, was free and outdoors and was named the best major event in Bremen by the Weser-Kurier newspaper.
For its 25th anniversary, the International Festival Maritim attracted around 100,000 guests to Vegesack on the Weser from August 1 to 3, 2025. 30 international bands and groups performed on eight stages, with a programme ranging from shanties to folk-punk. The festival remained true to its free and outdoors principle and was recognized as Bremen's best major event.
