Overview

In 2025, the International Ceramics Market Siegburg once again upheld its reputation as one of the most significant platforms for contemporary ceramic art in Europe. Around 90 juried studios from approximately 10 countries, with a different guest country each year, shaped the market scene. The market square in medieval Siegburg, with Michaelsberg Abbey as a backdrop, remained a unique setting.

The 2025 edition confirmed the high standard: juried studios, award ceremonies, a guest country program at the City Museum, and the customary children's pottery activity with Siegburg clay. The transport concept (ICE connection) and the city-day character — combining a market visit with a climb to the abbey and a stroll through the old town — also worked seamlessly.
