The International Beer Festival Goch 2025 established the format as a summer festival for Lower Rhine beer connoisseurs. At Maasstraße, beer tastings, food stalls, and social gatherings spread over several hours on a Friday evening, and the concept of a curated international selection once again found its audience.
The 2025 edition confirmed the trend towards curated beer festivals rather than traditional folk festivals (Volksfest). Goch positions itself with the international beer festival as a successful combination of Lower Rhine pub culture and modern beer diversity — a format that attracts beer connoisseurs and enhances the region culturally.
