Overview
The 31st International Bandonion Festival Carlsfeld took place from October 3rd to 5th, 2025. Bandonion players from Germany, Argentina, France, and other countries met in Carlsfeld for concerts at the Trinitatiskirche and the 'Grüner Baum' community center — as an annual tribute to the instrument's birthplace.
In 2025, the festival once again brought together the international Bandonion scene in Carlsfeld. Concerts featuring tango, folk music, and classical works in two intimate venues — the Trinitatiskirche and the 'Grüner Baum' community center — formed the backbone of the three-day program. For three decades, the festival has been a fixture in the Ore Mountains' cultural calendar and a point of identity for Germany's Bandonion scene.
