Overview
The 74th edition of the ARD Music Competition took place in Munich from September 1 to 19, 2025. The program featured the disciplines of piano, clarinet, and trumpet. Three first prizes were awarded: Liya Wang (China) for piano, Elad Navon (Israel) for clarinet, and Robin Paillet (France) for trumpet. The prize winner concerts concluded the competition as usual.
In 2025, the International ARD Music Competition held its 74th edition. From September 1 to 19, musicians competed in Munich in the disciplines of Piano, Clarinet, and Trumpet over four rounds of selection.
Three first prizes were awarded: Liya Wang from China won in piano, Elad Navon from Israel in clarinet, and Robin Paillet from France in trumpet. The prize winner concerts with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Munich Chamber Orchestra marked the conclusion.
