Overview

In 2025, the Ingolstädter Christkindlmarkt once again attracted families from all over Upper Bavaria to the city center with mulled wine, arts and crafts, a fairy tale trail, and the nostalgic Christmas train. The combination of a large Christmas market on Theaterplatz and the fine "Klein und Fein" arts and crafts market on Rathausplatz has established itself as one of the market's core features.

The 2025 edition of the Christkindlmarkt in Ingolstadt once again confirmed why the event is one of the most famous Advent markets in Upper Bavaria. Wooden stalls, live performances, the fairy tale trail, and the Christmas train created a festive atmosphere for families, couples, and business travelers who find an important hub in Ingolstadt with its corporate headquarters.

The presence of partner cities from Slovenia, Italy, and France also enhanced the international charm – a Christmas market with a sense of proportion for tradition and modernity.
