Overview
The 2025 Indian Gathering took place in May over the Pentecost weekend. Native Americans from the USA and Canada, together with the Old Elk family, presented dances, drum ceremonies, and memorial performances. The gathering once again drew thousands of visitors to the El Dorado Western town near Templin in the Uckermark region.
2025 Indian Gathering — Pentecost in the Western Town
The 2025 gathering took place at Pentecost in the El Dorado Western town in Templin. The focus was on the classic program elements: Grand Entry in the morning, Hoop Dance, Heartbeat drums, and the daily memorial performance of the Battle of the Little Bighorn in the afternoon. The participation of indigenous guests from North America was also internationally oriented in 2025, with workshops, traditional cuisine, and campfire talks for interested visitors.
