Edition 2025 — Immling Festival

The 2025 Summer Festival of the Immling Festival took place in the traditional period from mid-June to mid-August at the festival theatre on Gut Immling. As in previous years, the programme included several opera productions under the direction of artistic director Ludwig Baumann, as well as concerts and special formats. The festival, which began in 1997 with a production of The Magic Flute, once again attracted opera lovers from all over Bavaria, Austria, and beyond to the Chiemgau region.

Summer Festival 2025

In 2025, the Immling Festival continued its established programming: three to four major opera productions, several concert programmes, and chamber music special formats in the Star Tent. The combination of high musical quality and the pre-Alpine location of Gut Immling once again proved appealing – with international soloists, a festival orchestra, and an open-air atmosphere.

On the Road to the Anniversary

The 2025 season marked the penultimate year before the 30th anniversary. Strategically, the festival was already building towards the 2026 anniversary programme – with items that served as precursors to the extensive anniversary schedule. The shuttle service from Bad Endorf was offered as in previous years, facilitating travel from Munich, Rosenheim, and Salzburg.
