Illuminated Water Features Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe (Summer)

As every year, the Illuminated Water Features attracted thousands of visitors to the mountain park. Organizer: Kassel Marketing GmbH. The supplementary BergparkLeuchten festival still took place in 2025 – it was cancelled for 2026 due to savings.

Two-day light spectacle in the UNESCO World Heritage site Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe with illumination of the entire historic water art. Additional regular water features from May to October every Wednesday, Sunday, and public holiday.

The proven format has shaped the festival for years and brings audiences from the region as well as from neighbouring federal states to the location. The annual edition contributes to Hesse's fixed festival calendar and is supported voluntarily by local clubs, associations, and helpers.
