Husumer Biikebrennen am Dockkoog — Edition 2025

As every year, several thousand visitors gathered on the evening of February 21, 2025, on the embankment at Dockkoog. The Husum Volunteer Fire Brigade had prepared the fire for weeks, the Biikerede honored the Frisian tradition and addressed current social issues. Around 6:30 PM, the Biike was lit.

As always, the Viöl fire brigade band accompanied the event, and free shuttle buses ran between the harbor parking garage and Dockkoog. Afterwards, Husum's inns filled with Biike attendees for the traditional Grünkohlessen.
