Overview

The Hüfingen Roman Festival 2025 once again transformed the area of the Roman Bath Ruins into a lively ancient reenactment. Legionary camps, a Roman market, ancient craft demonstrations, and guided tours of the thermal ruins attracted visitors from the Black Forest, Baar region, and the Swiss border area.

Roman Festival 2025 in Hüfingen

In 2025, the Hüfingen Roman Festival once again brought the Roman fort Brigobannis to life for a weekend. Reenactor groups from Germany, Switzerland, and France set up their legionary and civilian camps around the originally preserved Roman Bath Ruins. The Roman market offered ancient goods — wine, oil, jewelry, ceramics, textiles — and craftspeople demonstrated ancient techniques with blacksmiths, potters, glassblowers, and leatherworkers.

A highlight for families: On Sunday from 2:00 PM, the interiors of the covered ruins were freely accessible. Thousands of visitors experienced the archaeological site as a living antiquity, complemented by gladiator fights, dances with ancient music, and a hands-on family program.
