Overview

The Hubertusmarkt Kempen 2025 took place, as always, on November 3, the traditional Hubertus memorial day. More than 200 stalls once again lined the eight central Old Town streets, and thousands of visitors from the Lower Rhine, the Ruhr area, and the neighboring Netherlands came to Kempen's Old Town for the day. The organizer, the City of Kempen, managed the market activities, which are based on a tradition dating back to Kempen's market charter in 1372. Despite the typical autumn weather, the response in 2025 was very high.

Hubertusmarkt 2025 — The Annual Market Tradition

The 2025 edition followed the proven concept: over 200 stalls, 8 Old Town streets, accompanying gastronomic program, Dutch day trips. The City of Kempen coordinated stall allocation and logistics; the Buttermarkt, as the geographical center, was once again the main point of contact.

The sustained cross-border response from the neighboring Netherlands (Venlo, Roermond, Nijmegen) once again confirmed the regional appeal of the Hubertusmarkt. The city and stallholders drew a positive conclusion and confirmed the date of November 3, 2026, in line with the usual adherence to the date (Hubertus memorial day).
