Overview
In 2025, the pre-Christmas season in Gelsenkirchen-Horst also started with the Adventsmarkt along Essener Straße on the 1st Advent, featuring Sunday opening hours and a Christmas tree competition.
As every year on the 1st Advent Sunday, the shops in Horst opened their doors, and the fir trees along Essener Straße were judged by the jury. Families from Horst and the surrounding districts used the day for Advent atmosphere and shopping.
Programme
Sunday opening hours from 1 PM to 6 PM, decorated Christmas trees, mulled wine and snack stands along Essener Straße.
