Overview
Horse & Symphony 2025 was held as part of the regular CHIO Aachen 2025 in the Deutsche Bank Stadium on the CHIO grounds – the traditional venue for the concert since 2003. The Aachen Symphony Orchestra under General Music Director Christopher Ward presented a program of grand symphonic music and film scores, accompanied choreographically by dressage, vaulting, and stunt riding sequences, as well as the Ferberberg Ballet School.
As in previous years, the synchronicity between orchestral highlights and equestrian precision, the elegant Wagnerian nod to grand dressage quadrilles, and the popular closing pieces were captivating. With over 5,000 guests, the 2025 edition was also sold out and paved the way for the expansion into the main stadium in 2026.
