Edition 2025 — Kapellenfest Honings
In 2025, the Honingser Kapellenfest returned to its traditional date, Pentecost Monday (June 9). With sunny summer weather, numerous guests from Hetzles, Neunkirchen am Brand, and the surrounding area celebrated with a festive mass, Frühschoppen, sausages, and Küchla on the Hetzleser Berg.
The 2025 edition took place on Pentecost Monday, June 9, 2025. With bright sunshine and summer temperatures, numerous guests gathered in front of the "Unsere liebe Frau vom Rosenkranz" chapel in Honings.
The festive mass in the morning was celebrated by the local pastor, accompanied musically by a small brass ensemble. Afterwards, the helpers of the Christlicher Kapellenförderverein Honings e.V. took over the catering for the guests. The homemade Küchla from the women of Honings were, as usual, quickly sold out.
The proceeds from the event went entirely to the upkeep of the chapel, built in 1995, which was financed solely by the community without state funding.
