Overview

In 2025, the Holi Festival of Colours already took place at the Zentraler Festplatz Reinickendorf. Thousands of visitors transformed the summer Saturday into a ten-hour colour party with DJ sets and hourly 'Big Throws'. The concept – electronic music plus colour choreography – has proven successful since the festival's start in Berlin in 2012 and continues to be celebrated at this venue.

The 2025 Berlin edition followed the now-classic setup: multiple stages, DJ sets focused on House and Minimal, and hourly Big Throws starting in the early afternoon. As every year, the Zentraler Festplatz offered ample space for a festival crowd predominantly aged between 16 and mid-thirties.

For over a decade, the Holi Festival of Colours has been a fixture of Berlin's open-air season and part of a nationwide festival tour. The Berlin edition benefits from the large venue in the Reinickendorf district and its good accessibility from northern Berlin and the nearby airport corridor (formerly Tegel).
