Overview

The Hohenloher Kultursommer 2025 ran for its 39th season with classical concerts in the castles, monasteries, and churches of Hohenlohe. The opening was traditionally a concert in the Rittersaal of Neuenstein Castle, followed by around 25 other concerts at historic venues between Künzelsau, Öhringen, and Bad Mergentheim.

Kultursommer 2025

The 39th season of the Hohenloher Kultursommer 2025 took place between June and August at over twenty locations in the Hohenlohe district and surrounding areas. The program combined chamber music in the Rittersaal of Neuenstein Castle with orchestral concerts in the Öhringen Collegiate Church and Schöntal Monastery, as well as experimental formats like crossover concerts in the Hohenlohe vineyards.

The organizing body, Kulturstiftung Hohenlohe, based in Künzelsau, is an initiative of the Hohenlohe district. Its central location ensures that the predominantly rural Hohenlohe district can offer a classical festival program of the highest caliber — a blend of regional roots and supra-regional appeal that has made the Kultursommer one of Baden-Württemberg's most important classical series.
