Hohenbusch KlassiXX 2025

Kultur GmbH Erkelenz once again hosted its classical series Hohenbusch KlassiXX at Haus Hohenbusch in 2025 — as an annual open-air classical concert in the region. The repertoire varied each year: from classical hits from opera, symphony, and choral music to program highlights with a large choir and orchestra.

Over the years, the Hohenbusch series has established itself as a fixture in Erkelenz's summer festival calendar and serves as the prelude to the ambitious large-scale production in 2026: for the 700th city anniversary, it will present Carl Orff's 'Carmina Burana' with over 170 choristers and the Philharmonia Frankfurt/Main over two evenings.
