Overview
The Hohenberger Wiesenfest 2025 took place on the third weekend of July, following the tried and tested tradition of almost 200 years. On Sunday, schoolchildren from the Schirnding-Hohenberg primary school reenacted the Margrave's visit of 1663 in magnificent historical costumes, followed by a colorful procession through the town. Deliberately without modern amusement rides, with school plays, club performances, and the cross-border encounter with the partner municipality Libá, the festival confirmed its reputation as one of the oldest and most atmospheric Wiesenfeste in Northern Bavaria.
