The premiere of the Hohenasperger Maitage took place from May 1st to 4th, 2025. Four days of open-air festival at Hohenasperg Fortress with Weißwurst breakfast, regional wines, live bands, and a family day on the last Sunday. The organizers drew a positive conclusion and announced the repeat in 2026.

Premiere 2025

From May 1st to 4th, 2025, the first edition of the Hohenasperger Maitage took place at Hohenasperg Fortress. Four days full of enjoyment, music, and togetherness — that was the motto. Thursday, May 1st, opened at 11:00 AM with a Weißwurst breakfast and live music from 3:00 PM. Friday, May 2nd, an after-work sundowner from 5:00 PM. Saturday, May 3rd, afternoon program from 3:00 PM with house music and cocktails. Sunday, May 4th, family day with a devotion, Swabian lunch, face painting, and guided tours of the fortress.

The organizers were Hotel Adler Asperg, 's Esele Brewery, Weingut Wolf, caterer Markus Deutsch, and Pastor Kerstin Gottfried. Admission was free. The premiere established the format as a permanent fixture in Asperg's event calendar — the city quickly announced the second edition for 2026.
