The Historical Market Fair Zwickau 2025 once again brought thousands of visitors to the old town on the second weekend of September. Three market squares, three eras — Middle Ages, Biedermeier, Industrial Revolution — scenically staged, parallel to Open Monument Day.
2025 Preview Edition
As since 1994, the 2025 market fair continued the proven three-square concept. The city of Zwickau and local craft associations, showmen, and musicians vividly brought the historical eras to the old town. The connection with Open Monument Day offered visitors the opportunity to switch between the festival mile and monument tours — a proven concept that makes the market fair one of the most important cultural events in West Saxony.
