The Historic Sea Bathing 2025 took place on June 14 on Heiligendamm beach. With a festive procession, Biedermeier costumes, and historic bathing carts, the summer season was opened in Germany's oldest seaside resort.

On June 14, 2025, Heiligendamm beach once again transformed into a stage for bathing history. The Historic Sea Bathing opened the summer season in Germany's oldest seaside resort with a festive procession, where actors playing the Grand Duke and court society paraded to the beach in Biedermeier costumes.

Historic bathing carts, music, dance, and theatre scenes recalled the beginnings of German seaside resort culture. Hundreds of visitors watched the spectacle on the promenade of the historic seaside resort. Admission was free.
