Overview

The 2024 edition of the Historic Old Town Festival Kenzingen took place on the first weekend of July 2024 (July 5–7) in the old town. As always, jugglers, minstrels, musicians, historic market with craft demonstrations, knightly theatre, rustic stalls with catering, Corvus Corax concert on Saturday evening. Organiser: City of Kenzingen.

Historic Old Town Festival 2024

The 2024 predecessor edition continued the biennial format. Several thousand visitors came from the southern Upper Rhine, nearby Alsace, and Switzerland to medieval Kenzingen. Corvus Corax on Saturday evening was again one of the highlights; the craft demonstrations and knightly theatre performances delighted families and medieval enthusiasts.

With the 2024 edition, the city of Kenzingen solidified the festival's position as one of the most important medieval events on the southern Upper Rhine — a successful format that returns every two years.
