Edition 2025 — Hinterländer Kerwa
The Hinterländer Kerwa 2025 took place on the last weekend of June, from June 28th to 29th, 2025, at the Bauer farmstead in Culm/Mistelgau. Saturday evening from 6 p.m. with suckling pig, grilled specialties, and entertainment music, Sunday from 9:30 a.m. Weißwurst breakfast with Kerwa music, in the afternoon coffee and cake, and a bouncy castle for children. Free admission.
The Hinterländer Kerwa 2025 continued the Upper Franconian Kerwa tradition revived since 2006 on the last weekend of June. At the Bauer farmstead in Culm — the first farmstead on the left towards Schobertsreuth — two festival days were celebrated in the Hummelgau.
As in previous years, suckling pig, grilled specialties, and cold platters were on the menu on Saturday evening, while Sunday featured the traditional Weißwurst breakfast with Kerwa music, followed by coffee and cake in the afternoon and a bouncy castle for children. The family-friendly atmosphere, free admission, and close connection to local history make the Hinterländer Kerwa a fixed date in the Upper Franconian festival calendar.
