The premiere of HilleBeatz Open Air on August 9, 2025, at the Dörentrup outdoor pool was "a complete success" according to the Lippische Landeszeitung. Around 2,000 visitors celebrated to electronic music in the outdoor pool — a surprisingly high number for a first festival in a town of about 8,000 inhabitants, laying the foundation for its continuation in 2026.
Premiere 2025 — Complete Success at the Outdoor Pool
On August 9, 2025, the Dörentrup outdoor pool experienced its premiere as a festival stage. Organizer TP Gastro GmbH dared to try a concept with HilleBeatz Open Air that hadn't been seen in the region before: an electro festival in a classic summer outdoor pool, combined with a pool lounge and sundowner atmosphere. The positive feedback from approximately 2,000 visitors — documented in a report by the Lippische Landeszeitung titled "Hillebeatz Festival in Dörentrup — A Complete Success" — paved the way for the second edition in 2026. The premiere proved that open-air electro can find an enthusiastic audience even in a small town in Lippe.
