Overview

The 29th Hildener Jazztage took place in June 2025 at the Stadthalle Hilden and other venues. Organizer Jazzförderung Rhein-Ruhr gGmbH presented the usual program of mainstream jazz, contemporary composition, and European avant-garde. In preparation for the 30th anniversary in 2026, the program was already geared towards internationality in 2025.

29th Edition Before the Anniversary

The 29th Hildener Jazztage 2025 served as the prelude to the grand 30th-anniversary celebration in 2026. Organizer Jazzförderung Rhein-Ruhr gGmbH once again brought a carefully curated selection from international mainstream jazz and the European jazz scene to the Hilden Stadthalle and the other venues of the Lower Berg town.

Since its founding in 1996, the Hildener Jazztage has developed into one of the most established jazz events in North Rhine-Westphalia. In 2025, good occupancy rates and positive feedback from the jazz scene confirmed the festival's significance in the Rhine-Ruhr region.
