Overview
The 42nd Herner SpieleWahnsinn 2025 once again established the event as the most important board game fair date in NRW in the spring. Around 4,000 visitors, 50 exhibitors, and the German championships in Catan and Carcassonne attracted board game enthusiasts from all over Germany.
The 2025 edition once again brought the association Mehr als Spielen high participation and positive feedback. The mix of indie designer meetups, major publisher presentations, and the championship format worked very well again. The LWL-Museum für Archäologie also saw increased visitor numbers thanks to ticket inclusion.
