Overview
The 49th Herdecker Maiwoche in 2025 took place, as is traditional, around Ascension Day. Four days of city center program with stages, creative market, civic brunch, and club stalls — the city of Herdecke once again proved that a small Ruhr area municipality can host a large city festival.
The 49th edition laid the groundwork for the 50th anniversary edition in 2026. Already in 2025, the Mark-E stage at Viehmarktbrunnen was at the center of the festival. The business association and the city of Herdecke have been cooperating in organization for decades.

2025 program archived. 2026 is the 50th anniversary edition from May 13th to 16th with a new DEW21 stage and laser show.
