Overview

In 2025, the Haithabu Viking Museum once again hosted its traditional Autumn Fair. Four days of Viking market in the reconstructed Viking village at Haddebyer Noor, featuring craftspeople from Northern Europe, live demonstrations, and tastings of regional products.

The 2025 edition followed the established format: market days in the Viking village, open Viking houses, special guided tours of the museum and the permanent exhibition, and food stalls with a Viking-inspired theme. The Stiftung Schleswig-Holsteinische Landesmuseen, which operates the Haithabu Viking Museum, organized the weekend with its usual high standard of historical authenticity.

Visitors came from Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, Denmark, and, as is typical for the season, from the international Viking reenactment network.
