Overview

The 429th Wermelskirchen Herbstkirmes attracted thousands to the Bergisches Land region from August 29 to September 2, 2025, with around 100 fairground attractions. The Big Ben Tower, Columbia Ferris wheel, and the historic DRIVE-IN bumper cars were prominent among the rides. The 12-hour concert on Saturday and the fireworks display on Tuesday evening were again the highlights.

The 429th edition of the Wermelskirchen Herbstkirmes followed the established rhythm: tapping of the first keg on Friday at 4:00 PM on Loches-Platz, followed by the 12-hour concert on Saturday and the Sunday with open shops in the city center. The handicraft market along Jörgensgasse and Schillerstraße offered space for around 150 stalls. On Tuesday evening, the traditional fireworks display around 10:00 PM concluded five intense days of festivities.
